As most of our tracks, the single/cassette is a product of our mutual pile of clutter and bank of ideas, which consists of written down sketches and cell phone recordings. It is all collected in a joint folder somewhere on the internet. The ideas usually grow to more concrete and unified expressions in our rehearsal space. This is also the case for the single’s two tracks. In addition to being shaped and recorded in our rehearsal space, it is also the first songs which we have written together as a complete band after Markus joined on the saxophone. The songs of the single/cassette attest to the new unity we as a band have found ourselves in during the last couple of years. They reflect the expression which is going to mark our next album.
